Located in the Gulei Port Economic Development Zone of Zhangzhou, Fujian, the Chi Mei 180,000 t/a PC Project is a key high-end chemical materials project invested by CHIMEI Corporation's Group in mainland China.

The scope mainly includes the lifting works for the DPC (Diphenyl Carbonate) unit area (supporting 156,000 t/a intermediate production), the PC polymerization unit area, the raw material/product tank area, the chilled water system, and environmental treatment facilities.

The photo shows the methanol azeotropic tower hoisting operation, with the tower weighing 231 tons. The construction team used a 650t crawler crane for the main lifting operation and a 350t crawler crane for tailing. Due to the limited construction space and the large size of the equipment, the crane operators demonstrated outstanding skills, coordinating seamlessly. The entire process - from hoisting to tailing and positioning - took only 45 minutes.
